The Mystical and Mysterious TCM Triple Energizer (aka Sanjiao, Triple Warmer, Triple Heater, Triple Burner) Dynamically Causes Energic Influences to be Transformed from Water Via Hydroelectric Processes. Note that many Acupoints on the Sanjiao Channel (Sanjiao 5, Sanjiao 6, Sanjiao 3 and Sanjiao 17) are very Influential Sanjiao Meridian Acupoints.  

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) there are 12 Main organs. One of these 12 Main Organs of TCM is not accepted by Western Medicine, and has been surrounded in mystery for thousands of years, even among TCM practitioners. In keeping with that enigmatic theme, the triple energizer is known by many other names, including san-jiao, sanjiao, triple heater, triple burner, tri-heater, triple warmer, triple energizer, three heaters and the three burning spaces. Many TCM practitioners believe that it is NOT actually an organ as such, but comprises a series of complex biological and biochemical functions that occur throughout the entire body. Due to its ubiquity throughout the body, I call it the Triple-Energizer Metasystem. The following are excerpts from the book The ‘Mystical’ TCM Triple Energizer. Its Elusive Location and Morphology Defined.

I aim to show that via hydroelectric processes the Triple-Energizer Metasystem controls all of the water molecules in our body which make up 99% of our body on a molecule-for-molecule basis, and that it is predominantly water molecules in our food and drink that leave the Stomach, and due to a recently discovered biological phenomenon, this Bulk Water + Biophotons + Hydrophilic Connective-Tissue Membranes yield Energized, Living Liquid Crystalline EZ Water. Professor Pollack has proved that this subsequent energized EZ water is the driving force of the multitudinous biological batteries and pumps that drive the Triple Burner Energy and Fluid Cycle. Thus is can be stated that “the Triple Burner causes the energic influences to be transformed from water”.

9.1 Ming Men, and the Influences Sent Out by the Stomach Are What Empower the Triple Burner

In the commentaries on the 31st Difficult Issue on page 348 of Unschuld’s (1) translation of Nan Ching, Hua Shou states:

The depots and palaces of the human body have form and shape; they are supplied [with influences] and they are generated. For instance, the liver receives influences from the [phase of] wood and is generated by the [phase of] water. The heart receives influences from the [phase of] fire and is generated by the [phase of] wood. There is no exception. Only the Triple Burner has no form and shape, and it is supplied and generated by nothing but the original influences and the influences [sent out] by the stomach. That is why [the text] states: ‘It encompasses the passageways of water and grain [in the organism]; it represents conclusion and start of [the course of] the influences.’

Interestingly, in this scripture, Hua Shou states that the original influences—that is, Ming men—and the influences sent out by the Stomach are what empower the Triple Burner. I believe the influences sent out by the Stomach that empower the Triple Burner are predominantly the bulk water consumed for hydration along with the 80% water present in most foods (grains) that are transmuted into energized, living liquid-crystalline EZ water along with the biophotons encapsulated in the foods. Professor Pollack has shown that Bulk Water + Biophotons + Hydrophilic Connective-Tissue Membranes = Energized, Living Liquid Crystalline EZ Water. Pollack proved that this subsequent energized EZ water is equivalent to biological batteries and pumps, which I believe is the dominant force used to power the Triple Burner. Water is the main substrate that the Triple Burner is responsible for. The Stomach granary permits the consumed drinks containing generally more than 90% water and foods (grain) containing generally more than 80% water to be macerated in the Stomach so that the solar-energized biophotons present in the foods can be liberated and the vast amount of H2O molecules present in the drinks and foods can be converted into the energized EZ water, [H3O2], most likely just after diffusing from the stomach on the way to the Spleen.

9.2 The Influences of the Grains in the Stomach Generates the Triple Burner

In the commentaries on the 31st Difficult Issue on pages 348–349 of Unschuld’s (1) translation of Nan Ching, Chang Shih-hsien stated:

The Triple Burner is supplied with influences moving in the supervisor [vessel] as provision of its beginning; it relies on the influences of the grains in the stomach as provision for its [continuing] generation. It is the official responsible for the maintenance of the ditches; the waterways originate from it. Water and grains enter [the organism] through the upper [section of the Triple] Burner; they leave through the lower [section of the Triple] Burner. Hence, one knows that [the Triple Burner] represents the conclusion and the start of the [course of the] influences. (Emphasis is mine)

9.4 Stomach 30 Is Where the Triple Burner Affects Membranes and Fascia throughout the Body

Clogstoun-Willmott (31) confirms that Stomach 30, which is ‘the place where the Triple Burner collects its influences’, is also an acupoint that has a powerful effect on membrane and fascial dysfunction throughout the body. I thought it very insightful of the author to also associate the very earliest phase of embryology—that is, the implantation of the blastocyst within the womb—with the formation of the ‘supportive fascia or membranes and fatty tissues’. These facts are very suggestive that the Connective-Tissue Metasystem and the Triple-Energizer Metasystem have an intimate association with each other.

11.6 TCM Teaches ‘Influences’ from ‘Drinks and Grains’ Are Literally Absorbed from the Stomach

In the article ‘Gross Conception of Anatomical Structure of the Triple Burner in Huangdi Neijing’, regarding the function of the Middle Burner, the authors (9) state, ‘The place directly above the duodenal papilla is the boundary that separates the different functions of the digestive tract. Above here, nutrients are generally not absorbed. Only below here do the digestive enzymes, excreted by the pancreas, and the bile, excreted by the liver, enter food, allowing digestion to proceed, even though TCM thinks nutrients are absorbed in the stomach.’

Regarding the TCM concept of nutrients from grains being absorbed by the Stomach in the Middle Burner, the authors further state, ‘Here, TCM thinks that the stomach absorbs the essence of water and grains, different from what we know through modern science. However, if we treat history and historical scientific development with respect, this kind of misconception is not a major mistake to be criticized.’ I don’t believe it is a misconception. What I do believe is a misconception is that modern TCM practitioners assume that what is absorbed from the stomach are nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, and so on and that this was never the intention of the original authors. I believe the main essence of water and grains that is absorbed directly from the Stomach include predominantly bulk water molecules (H2O) from the drinks and also from the grains, along with biophotons derived from the grains. It is known that other small molecules do pass through the Stomach wall. I propose that what is essentially absorbed from the grains is actually the 80% water that makes up those grains, along with greater than 90% water that makes up the drinks. Additionally, I propose that those grains are bounding with biophotons and that it is predominantly the bulk water present in the drinks and foods plus the biophotons which are absorbed through the stomach lining directly for the manufacture of EZ water. The bulk water plus the biophotons in the presence of the copious hydrophilic material of the membranous Triple-Energizer Metasystem yield living liquid crystalline EZ water, which powers the Triple Burner. At KL 331–332 of his book, Professor Gerald Pollack (27) states, ‘The water molecule is so small that if you were to count every single molecule in your body, 99% of them would be water molecules.’

Note too that the San Jiao is not master over carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and minerals so that they should be given preference to be absorbed from the Stomach. The San Jiao is master over water. Author Glenn Grossman (5) stressed this fact regarding the legendary personified irrigation official named Yu. Highly-respected Yu personified the ‘San Jiao as “the office of the sluices; it manifests as the waterways,” or “the official in charge of irrigation and it controls the water passages”’.

Summary of Chapter 12

The former citations from Nan Ching indicate that the fire of the Pericardium, or the minister fire, is directly associated with the Triple Burner. This should be obvious as the Pericardium and Triple Burner are internal–external partners. Note that Yeh Lin relates, ‘The Triple Burner is associated with the residence of the minister-fire. The nature of fire is to ascend from below.’ So it is the minister fire within the Triple Burner that causes the energic influences to be transformed from water. The energic influences that occur throughout the body result from what happens to normal water and fluids after the Triple-Energizer Metasystem has energized the water with fire from the associated minister fire. Yeh Lin said, ‘The influences are transformed from water.’ How much clearer could it be? Through the Triple-Heater cycle, the ‘inhalation of the heavenly yang’ (absorption of biophotons from the sun into the water and foods we consume) occurs, and the EZ water is generated either directly from the Stomach or shortly after the water diffuses through the Stomach wall on its way to the Spleen.

I ponder over whether minister fire is in some way associated with biophotons derived from life-sustaining foods that we must consume daily to survive and prosper.

13.6 There is Nothing that the Triple Heater Does Not Envelop or Surround

Interesting too is the fact that every atom in every cell in our body also came from the Earth and its atmosphere. How so? Every food item has its origin from the soil—be it honey, water, salt, milk, grain, vegetables, berries, fruit, nuts, meats (beef, pork, chicken, or fish, etc.), wine, beer, or cider. All food produce that we eat had its origin directly from the Earth and the rain and the Sun, of course, along with some Oxygen and Nitrogen and Carbon from the atmosphere. Subsequently, the atoms from the apple that we ate yesterday will become part of our Spleen or Heart. So all our atoms and all our microfloral hitch-hikers were derived from the Earth. We are essentially transmuted Earth under the management and control of the Triple Heater.
